Role and Responsibilities:

• Leading the observability strategy by consolidating and implementing standards across the organization.

• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to migrate to SumoLogic in alignment with best practices.

• Setting up organizational guardrails and observability best practices for efficient and scalable system monitoring.

• Developing centralized solutions and framework components in SumoLogic to support diverse teams.

• Automating the implementation of observability solutions with tools such as Terraform/OpenTofu.

• Enabling end-to-end monitoring for Logs, Metrics, and Traces using OpenTelemetry.

• Providing hands-on technical guidance in the configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of SumoLogic and related

platforms.

• Supporting operational incident management techniques, including PagerDuty workflows.

Skills Required:

• 6+ years of professional experience overall, with at least 3+ years of direct experience with SumoLogic as part of

previous roles.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on expertise in OpenTelemetry for collecting logs, metrics, and traces.

• Extensive experience in implementing SumoLogic, with additional familiarity with tools like Elastic, OpenSearch,

Prometheus, NewRelic, or Site24x7.

• Proven ability to design and automate utilizing Terraform or OpenTofu.

• Proficiency in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure) and cloud-native observability tools.

• Familiarity with incident response and integration tools such as PagerDuty for alert management.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work in dynamic, multi-team environments.

• Language Requirements: Proficient in English (spoken and written)
