Experience:

• 12+ years of experience in QA

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation, with at least 2 years in a lead role.

• Hands-on experience in building automation frameworks from scratch.

• Strong background in working with image processing and validation tasks.

• Must have experience in manual testing as well as test automation

• Must be able to do test planning, test design and work with the team on framework development

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Framework Development: Design and implement an automation framework to extract text from images(bar/pie charts) and validate them

• Automation and Scripting: Utilise Linux command line and shell scripting to automate test execution runs, including handling dependencies and scheduling.

• Auto-Scaling and Resilience: Implement auto-scaling strategies to ensure high availability. Develop mechanisms to automatically restart containers during test execution if      they fail and resume tests from the last unexecuted test case.

• Container Management: Manage test environments using containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestrate using Kubernetes or similar tools.

• Log Management: Develop a strategy for storing and managing test execution logs. Ensure logs are accessible and easy to view for debugging and reporting.

• Continuous Integration/Delivery: Integrate the framework into CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated tests are run as part of the software delivery process.

Required Skills and Expertise:

• Automation Frameworks: Proven experience in developing automation frameworks, preferably for image processing tasks.

• OCR and Image Processing Tools: Familiarity with tools like UIPath, Tosca, UFT or equivalent.

• Scripting: Proficient in Linux command line and shell scripting.

• Containerization: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar container orchestration tools.

• Auto-Scaling: Good knowledge of auto-scaling strategies and implementation.

• Log Management: Experience with log management tools like Elasticsearch, Kibana or similar.

• Version Control: Proficiency in Git for version control.

• CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

• Programming Languages: Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or similar is desirable
