Key Responsibilities:


L1 / L2 Data Platform Support

  • Monitor and support Snowflake data warehouse, ADLS, and ADF pipelines on a 24x7 or business-hours support model.

  • Should be able to debug and fix code in Snowflake & ADF

  • Perform job monitoring, failure analysis, reruns, and recovery for ETL/ELT pipelines handling structured and semi‑structured data.

  • Handle data load failures, performance issues, schema changes, and data discrepancies.

  • Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs)for recurring operational tasks.

Incident, Problem & SLA Management

  • Act as first and second line of supportfor data-related incidents and service requests.

  • Perform initial triage, root cause analysis, and escalation to L3/platform teams when required.

  • Ensure SLA, SLO, and KPI compliance(incident response, resolution times, data availability).

  • Maintain accurate ticket updates, incident reports, and runbooks.

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Coordinate with application, core banking, infrastructure, and security teams.

  • Maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, and handover notes.

  • Participate in post‑incident reviews and service improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience


Technical Skills

  • Strong SQL skills (querying, troubleshooting, performance analysis).

  • Hands-on experience supporting Snowflakeenvironment (monitoring, queries, loads).

  • Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)pipeline monitoring and troubleshooting.

  • Understanding of ADLS / cloud data storage.

  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes for structured and semi‑structured data (JSON, CSV, Parquet).

Operations & Support Skills

  • Experience in L1/L2 production support for data platforms.

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes(Incident, Problem, Change Management).

  • Strong experience with job scheduling, monitoring tools, and alert handling.

  • Ability to work with SLA-driven managed services environments.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to data governance and security tools (Purview, Voltage, Cohesity, Spirion, BlueVoyant).

  • Experience in banking, credit union, or financial services environments.

  • Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for support automation.

  • Understanding of cloud security and data privacy concepts.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset.

  • Clear written and verbal communication for incident handling.

  • Ability to work in shifts/on-call rotations if required.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
