Key Responsibilities:

• Validate NCUA compliance extract files (e.g. regulatory data submissions, or NCUA‑mandated extracts).

• Design and execute SQL queries in Snowflake to confirm data consistency, completeness, and accuracy.

• Validate data transformations, mappings, and business rules across source systems and downstream layers.

• Conduct root‑cause analysis for data quality issues and work with engineering teams to resolve defects.

• Perform regression, functional, and end‑to‑end data validation for new releases.

Regulatory & Compliance Support:

• Ensure extract files meet NCUA schema, formats, threshold checks, and validation criteria.

• Collaborate with compliance, risk, and data governance teams to interpret NCUA requirements into testable validation logic.

• Document test cases aligned with regulatory specifications and audit standards.

Collaboration & Documentation:

• Partner with data engineering teams to review data models, mapping documents, and ETL logic.

• Create, maintain, and standardize QA documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and defect logs.

• Communicate QA findings, data issues, and risks to technical and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in Data Quality, Data QA, or ETL Testing.

• Strong hands‑on experience with SQL, specifically in Snowflake.

• Experience validating regulatory or compliance data files—preferably NCUA, financial regulatory filings, or call report datasets.

• Solid understanding of ETL pipelines, data warehousing concepts, and data validation methodologies.

• Experience with data comparison tools, QA frameworks, and automation scripting.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with credit union, banking, or financial services datasets.

• Familiarity with data governance principles (DQ rules, lineage, profiling).

• Knowledge of Snowflake performance tuning and optimization.

• Experience with test automation tools or building automated SQL validation scripts.
